Who listens to the City Parent Carer Forum?

At the City of London Parent Carer Forum, we are committed to hearing the views of parent carers, understanding their experiences and championing their priorities. Our aim is to help create the best possible opportunities and outcomes for children and young people with SEND.

We collaborate with local services, healthcare providers, education settings and national organisations to ensure that parent carer perspectives are included in discussions, decisions and service development. By working together, we help shape improvements that make a genuine difference to families.

Everything we do is informed by the voices of our members. We encourage parent carers to share their experiences, ideas and concerns, enabling us to highlight key issues and advocate for meaningful change where it is needed most.

We collect feedback through a variety of channels, including surveys, coffee mornings, focus groups, webinars, workshops, information events and conferences. This feedback is presented at strategic meetings and partnership boards, helping to influence future services and support. We believe in being transparent and accountable, regularly updating members to demonstrate how their feedback is helping to bring about positive change.
